HAPPY, HEALTHY, STRONG—SAFEGUARDING AT EMMANUEL

We are committed to caring for and protecting everyone in our church community. We do this by raising awareness about safeguarding, safely recruiting, and supporting all those with any responsibility related to children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

Our parish safeguarding officer and PCC safeguarding lead work as an effective team and constantly review and update our church policies to reflect best practises.

All our volunteers undertake appropriate safeguarding training to empower each of them to thrive in their role, and we use Churchsuite to store data securely and make it accessible to the right people at the right times.

We respond promptly to each and every safeguarding concern that is raised.

With community outreach at the heart of our church, we believe in building healthy and safe relationships within a supportive culture. Everyone should feel able to flourish within our church family!
