Our team

Get to know some of our team at Emmanuel

Rose leads Emmanuel with her partner, Claire. Before she was ordained, Rose worked in the music industry and can often be found strumming guitar or behind a drum kit. Originally from Cornwall, she loves the coast, pasties, and curling up by a fire with a pint or a good book.

Claire leads Emmanuel along with Rose and has a particular heart for welcoming those who aren’t sure that church (or Jesus) is for them. She’s passionate about preaching, parenting, pancakes, and making three points that start with the same letter.

Laurie-Ann and her husband joined our church family in September 2018, when she started her role with us as the youth pastor. Alongside her youth work, Laurie-Ann has a passion for dance.

Heather is married to Andy and has two daughters. They have been coming to Emmanuel since 2008. Heather leads the Sunday morning children’s work and, in her spare time, is also involved in Girl Guiding.

Lyn is married to Paul, attends church with her daughter Katie, and is part of the pastoral team at Emmanuel.

When not reading a good book, she enjoys researching her family history or going for a walk with her dog.

Dave is married to Chris and has three children: Tim, Kate, and Mark.

Dave is on the building project team and is the PCC lead for children and youth.

Sally has been attending Emmanuel since she moved to Woodley in 2017. She has 4 grown-up children and 5 grandchildren who keep her busy.

She is a part-time member of the Scargill community in Yorkshire and likes walking and gardening in her spare time.
