You’ll find our services to be very informal and welcoming to all ages. We aim to make our service content and style accessible to everyone, be they regular churchgoers or those just dipping their toes. The meeting usually lasts about 1 hour, 15 minutes.
Our worship music is led by our worship team, and we have a wide variety of leaders and speakers. About once a month, we share communion together.
There is a play mat at the back of the hall with toys and books for younger children.
Tea and fresh coffee are available both before and after the service from the hatch in the entrance lobby.
Since the pandemic, we have embraced live-streaming our services, which will remain online on YouTube for a few weeks afterwards. This helps those volunteering in our children’s groups and people who are away catch up in their own time. We also know from people who have recently joined Emmanuel that part of the reason they decided to come to us was because they first watched us online.
Our Minecraft church group is a brilliant and creative way to engage young people with the church. Through the group, we have helped young, neurodiverse people engage with church in a way that works for them and have reached young people and their families who don’t usually go to church.
We meet once a month on the last Saturday morning of the month and have approximately 20 to 30 people attending.
