We love to have fun! We have regular social events throughout the year, and we love to welcome new people to them, whether you come to church or not. Annual fixtures include our big quiz night, Emmanuel Church Regatta (i.e. splashing about on the river), camping weekend, summer BBQ, and a Nativity Fun Day for families. Our men’s and ladies’ groups also hold bi-monthly breakfasts on a Saturday morning.

Tryfan Trip
We’re off to climb a mountain!
Join us for a beautiful trip to Wales over the May bank holiday. We’ll be staying in a bunkhouse at the foot of the mountain, or you’re welcome to find your own more luxurious accommodation if you wish! For those who don’t want to or can’t climb, you are welcome to join in for evening meals at the pub, and a gentler walk.
Cost is £120 for accommodation, breakfast and lunch. Please contact Steve for more info.

Church Camping Weekend
Join us at the beautiful Rushell Manor Farm, just 30 minutes from Woodley, for a long weekend of campfires, outdoor games, countryside walks, mini beast hunts, baked potatoes and sizzling bacon.
Everyone is welcome. If you need to borrow camping equipment, let us know and we’ll try and fix you up!

Men’s & Ladies’ Groups
Fancy a catch up over bacon and eggs? Our men’s and ladies’ groups hold regular breakfasts on Saturday mornings. There’s no agenda besides friendship and fun – if you’d like to come along, contact our office to find out when the next one is.
